The filming experience of Mark Freeman has brought him to the U.S., Latin America, China, South East Asia, and so on. His works have been shown in the National Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C., the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and so forth. "Body without a Brain" was filmed in Kalimantan, Indonesia. The dancer in the film was Rianto, the Director of Art from Dewandaru Dance Company. Rianto performs a high-risk, or even physically demanding dance, which he describes as "a tree without roots". The dancer seems to be in a trance as his body and the natural world are bound in a special mutual relationship.
